The Bear Eats Hong Kong Up

The stock market upset tons of people around the whole world for the passed two days. Within the last two days, all of the Hong Kong news have the same headline upon the bear arriving. People are upset, worried, and disappointed. Seems like . . . the bear rocked the whole world, and no one realized anything else. Not even the dying FatFat.

FatFat is a Hong Kong local actress. She is also being named, as The Happy Nut of Hong Kong. According to today's newspaper, she was hospitalized at the ICU of the Queen Mary. It's not the first time, in the past, it would largely covered in the entertainment section, but not this time. Even the entertainment section covered upon how much $ did each of the celebrities lost within the last two days. FatFat's story was only being covered at the tiny far corner of the paper.

FatFat sacrificed her career for entertaining the Hong Kong people. In fact, the Hong Kong people abandon her for the bear in the end!

Luck Is Always With Me!

When I was a college student, whenever others said, "Good luck!" to me, I always replied, "Luck is always with me!" back. After my graduation, with a few years of working experiences . . . I started forgetting what a lucky I am, as I believed that I worked myself for achieving all my wants. I kind have forgotten my golden phase until I was shitting today at the bathroom of where I am working now.

The whole world stock markets had a big fall yesterday. India was the worst. I of course suffered quite a bit from the crash and I believe that I will still suffer from the bear follows. I didn't buy any individual stock, but sector funds . . . Oh well~~~ They are China, India, and Eastern Europe. So, you know how deep the bear had bitten me! Am I gonna pull my bread out? No, I am not, as I treat them as my monthly savings. As Connie said, "Surviving is the name of the game! The longer living one is the winner."

I quited my China job 10 months ago. During that time, its was hard getting the right things done due to inflation. For example, the manpower force was cut down, and the workers are not being paid right, not even meeting the rate of the minimum wage. With tons of pressure without seeing the exit, I quited. I joined a semi-secured Hong Kong government funded corporation, as I was kind of looking for a shelter only.

In Chinese, we have a phase, "Discovering bean while eating shit." (It's Chinese, so don't worry for not understanding the meaning behind.) A thinking suddenly flashed across my mind while I was shitting today. I was thinking that what if I didn't quite 10 months ago? What if, I were still working in China? I think I might be insane already! Most of the Southern printers were crying for not getting enjoy jobs in 2007. With the bear arrived, the America mortgage time-bomb, and the China inflation . . . I don't think many can survive the 2008.

Many might say that the Olympic 2008 WILL raise the China economy, but I totally disagree! As I have always mentioned that China is communism, which doesn't have a stable economical structure and laws. Moreover, China overlooked itself for the sudden jumped within the past few years. The western worlds are still the major buyers of 90% of the China products. With all of the foreseen disadvantages heading, will the worlds still buy as much as they did in the past?

If I were still working in China, then I sill suffer from at least the three followings.
1. The new 401K law management
2. The inflated running expense
3. The reduced jobs
Don't even ask for a salary raise. Bonus should be a fantasy dream, and I might have to worry for being fired (According to the f__ked up Chinese 5000 culture tradition, laying-off isn't an official/unofficial term in any letting go situation, but firing! You know, the Chinese like to think and to act with their dick heads, so firing should be the right word.).

With all of the recent changes, I believe that luck is still and always with me, or should I say that I always discover bean while eating shit! Hahahahahaha . . .

Two Special Dinner, Part# 1 - Gaddi's Chef Table Dinner (my birthday dinner)

The Gaddi's Chef Table at The Peninsula Hotel . . . I dreamt of eating there for quite a number of years! The price of eating at the Chef Table isn't anywhere close to fine-dining, but the experience is priceless and unforgettable.

Yesterday, January 16, 2008 was my birthday. I finished my dream by booked a two people reservation two months ago. As it's an extremely expensive dinner considering based on my current career stage . . . I didn't only self-treat it as my own birthday present, but I also proposed to Connie during the dinner. (The proposing story will be blogged later)

What's so special about the Chef Table? The Chef Table is the most expensive table in a high quality restaurant. It is nowhere close to the guestroom, but inside the kitchen right next to where the Hot Table is (The place where the head chef works).

Connie and I took a half day off just for preparing the dinner yesterday. I went back home to wash and to dress myself, and Connie went out for hair dressing and making-up. We treated it as one of our most important days in our lives. Oh yeah, by the way . . . I didn't tell Connie what's a Chef Table is until we arrived, which shocked her of course!

We were leaded to the kitchen directly, after we had arrived. We were sat and were greeted by the head chef, David Goodridge of Gaddi's. He is quite good looking and young. He took us for a tour around the whole kitchen. Connie and I enjoyed ourselves by asking tons of related question from the cooking stove to the chocolate table. The kitchen is so well organized that it is being separated into different sections, and each of the section has its own boss. For example, the Bread Baking and the Dessert sections are being in charged by two different professionals. By the way, the kitchen is clean as heaven.

We had a five courses dinner.
Course# 1: Wild Boar
Course# 2: Blue Lobster Paste with Blue Lobster Ice-cream
Course# 3: Goose Liver with Truffle
Course# 4: Chicken Confit
Course# 5: Chestnut Tart with Ice-cream

We were allowed to walk around and to interact with all people within the kitchen during our dinner. Connie was already full at the third course, so she ended up bugging all of the chefs and waiters. She even asked for some secret recipes and to invest upon the silverware that we were using. U know what, even the water glass that we used costs $206.00 (HKD). Might be due to my "food-liking craziness" and the Connie's attractiveness, we were being offered by a lot of extra food-tastings such as a food named, mango-egg yolk and truffle jelly. I had three glasses of wine in total. They are Riesling (for the three appetizers), Pinot Noir (for the main course), and Tokaji (for the dessert).

Same as usual, I uploaded some of the images below, so enjoy!

Two Special Dinner, Part# 2 - Snake Dinner

I should have written this blog at least two weeks ago, but due to my laziness, I haven't dropped down anything until today.

Two weeks ago, Connie and I went to GuanChow, China. It's 2.5 train hours away from Hong Kong. We head there for a special dinner treated my one of my sweet young girl friends, Wendy Leung. She invited us to a snake hot-pot dinner along with her family. It was our first time experience, and you know what . . . We enjoyed ourselves with five different kinds of snake including Cooper!

I don't want to waste any time on this subject, so I make it short and clear that the more poison the snake, the more tasty it is! That's it, end of story. So, please enjoy more via the posted images below.

The Attracted

The Hong Kong weather is kind of unpredictable for the past few weeks. It's hot for one, and cold for the other. Under these extremes, getting a cold isn't anything impossible at all. Connie and I are always jacket ready. Not only us, but also our dogs, BeeBee and CeiCei.

Connie and I recognized that BeeBee has a special taste upon clothing. Seems like that he has a tendency to hump CeiCei whenever she is clothed. I guess its should be the same attractiveness of a man towards a well dressed made up fair lady. You know its a man thing, the nature sense of sexual appeal. The fat hair ball would keep humping from her head to her pussy non-stop! I don't know whether CeiCei is annoyed or not, but she has a special move for cutting him off. The special move is to sit still with her ass on the ground, then BeeBee can never get into anywhere at all! hahahahahaha so funny just by watching them!

For me . . . I would never be attracted by anyone clothed female! Whatever has been worn should be taken off! Nudity rocks! I guess . . . this is why I am hooked to the Japanese 4 sons movie! Of course, watching Connie XXX is also quite enjoyable, but comparing with the 4 sons, then . . . you know, it's a man thing again! (I think that my ear will be pulled off again tonight!)

I have finally finished all of the image retouchings. I have picked several interesting images and posted them below. Please enjoy.

First of all, let's pay some respect to Mr. Mau. I admit that I don't respect the Chinese 5000 years culture, but I do respect Mr. Mau as an revolutionary.
