Water From God (Part# 1): Johnny Walker — Blue Label

I love to drink. Years ago, I did decorated my apartment with tons of wine bottles, which were finished by me. I remembered that my parents were shocked for seeing that. It was extremely beautiful, at least to me. Besides wines, I also enjoy spirits. Johnny Walker — Blue Label was one of my dreamt targets. I had Remy Martin and Hennessy XO before, but never for a bottle of Blue Label until last night.

XO is a grape brewing spirit, but whisky is a malt brewing spirit. I couldn't disagree that the grape brewing spirit is a more expensive stuff than the malt brewing one, as XO is only a mid-range product of all cognac making companies, but they already cost around $100.00 to $200.00 USD. For the taste, the high-end single malt whisky such as Blue Label is extremely fine, but only being recently priced at around $200.00 to $250.00 USD. If you bought it at the Duty Free, then it only costs around $150.00 USD.

Okay, long story short. I opened one of my Blue Labels (Yeah, I have more than one in my collections.) yesterday at the Connie's father birthday dinner. I shared the spirit with her relatives instead of my few left over friends, which was kind of unexpected to me, but . . . it's alright as long as her father enjoyed and cheered.

I used to drink Jack Daniel, which is a multi malt whisky. Sometimes, I would buy its high-end, the Single Barrel. I loved it a lot. As I don't have any special feeling upon the single malt whisky at all, the taste of the Blue Label kind of rocked me. It was so smooth and not spicy at all. I enjoyed at least two glasses during the dinner, and her father even got drunk through it.

Blue Label, I love you.
